Lead Time Configuration & Custom Prep Times
This document reviews the various options that are available to manage prep times as a more granular level.
Lead Time Configuration: Login to https://maverick.rrtusa.net/. Search for a location and click that location to open. Click the subtab ‘Ordering’. You will see a window on this page called ‘Lead Times Configuration’. Lead Times Configuration allows you to customize your base prep time for a unique day and time through the week. To add a new configuration click the blue button ‘Add Lead Time’.
A window will pop up where you can create a new custom lead time.
Type: Select Pickup or Delivery
Day of Week: Select a Day of the Week for the custom lead time.
Start Time/End Time: Key in the start and end time for the custom lead time.
Lead Time (in minutes): Key in the base lead time for this window.
Create as many custom lead times throughout the week as you need for both Pickup and/or Delivery.
Custom Prep Time by Entree: Login to https://maverick.rrtusa.net/. Search for a location and click that location to open. Click the subtab ‘Ordering’. At the bottom of the page you will see a section called ‘Prep Time Required’. There are two configurations.
- Seconds Per Entree: For any menu item that is considered an Entree, you will determine the average seconds that it takes to prepare this entree. In the example shown above 120 seconds per entree. Note 1* Please see note below on how Menu sections are configured as Entree sections.
- Concurrent Order Capability: How many Entrees can you prepare at one time.
If you set this to 3, as shown above you are saying that every 120 seconds (2 minutes), you are able to prepare 3 entrees in your kitchen.
E.g. if an average order is 2 entrees, and we set the 'Seconds Per Entree' at 30 seconds, and the 'Concurrence' to 1. this will limit orders to 5 - 2 entree orders or 1 - 10 entree order perr 5 minute pickup time block.
*Note 1: To review which menu sections are set to Entree, open the Menu tab in the admin portal. Select the Menu you wish to work with.
Once the menu is open, click the Edit icon next to a menu section.
When the Menu Section Edit screen opens, you will see a ‘Category’ selection in the middle of the page. If you want to count this section as an Entree section for the purposes of order throttling, set it as such. If the section should not be considered an Entree for order throttling, set the section to a different category.
