Creating a New Webskin & Editing a Current Skin
Collect Brand Assets:
- Brand Colors (3) - Hex Codes
- Company logo - 1024x1024. PNG with a transparent background works well.
- Web Header Background Image (hi res, .png file format, 1500x800 pixels, required). Image that displays in the background for web based orders. Also used on the merchant page for mobile.
**Note: Menu category images and item images are added using the menu tool. Please review our knowledge base for more information.
Creating a New WebSkin:
Login to https://maverick.rrtusa.net/. Go to the ‘Sites’ Tab on the left hand navigation bar and select your Brand. On the top right corner of the Site Versions section of the page, click the ‘CREATE NEW SITE VERSION’ button.
You will be prompted to fill out a ‘Name’. You will also have the choice to choose to ‘Design My Own’ template, or ‘Start with a Template’. If you choose ‘Start with a Template’ you can choose between several different themes (coffee, southwestern, pizza, burgers, etc.). The color scheme and hero image will be pre-set using this option.
Choosing ‘Design My Own’ (most commonly used) will start you with a blank slate. You will be able to upload your header, logo, and brand colors. There is a click through wizard that guides you through the process.
For each Image you will drag and drop an image from your computer or the cloud.
For colors, you will be prompted with a hex color selector.
Once you have all assets in place, you can preview what the site will look like by clicking on the ‘PREVIEW WEBSKIN’ button. Once loaded, the portal will prompt you to preview. This will open a preview window for your review.
If you are happy with the design, return to the portal and click ‘PUSH WEBSKIN TO PRODUCTION’. *Note* publishing a new webskin will overwrite an old webskin that was previously in use.
Editing a Current Webskin:
If you ever need to edit this skin version, you will be able to find it under the Sites section of the portal under your brand. You can edit, preview, and publish as much as you need to. Or, you can create new versions of the site so you have the ability to revert back if needed.
Thank you for working with RRT!
