Command Center One
Restaurant Section
Objectives
- Sync a specific Restaurant
- Invalidate a specific Restaurant
- Monitor Status - Online/Offline
- Activate or Deactivate a Restaurant
Overview
- Log into Command Center 1.
- On the main menu click on “Restaurants” under the Restaurant category.
- This will bring you to the main Restaurant page. We are using the Revolution Grill as our example. Enter the name of the location in the “Search by name, short name, or ID field”.
- The 4 noteworthy options on this screen are: 1) The Filter Inactive restaurants. This keeps any inactive locations from showing. 2) The Active toggle shows all active locations. Deactivating a location for a long term or permanent closure will remove the location from online ordering. 3) The last Sync column shows a time stamp of the last menu sync. 4) The Cache Invalidations column clears the cache for an individual location or the company division.
- Click on the circular arrow to sync a location. Menu syncs are required to pick up changes made in the point of sale including new items, modifiers, or price changes.
- Cache invalidations will clear the cache allowing changes to be visible. The “Restaurant” option will clear the cache for changes made to the menu item names, descriptions, and modifiers. The “Settings” option will clear the cache for changes made to hours of operation, closures, order type, and other general settings. The “Division” option will clear the cache for menu changes made to all locations in the company division.
- The restaurant page shows if a location is offline. The shaded bar that envelopes the location serves as an indicator that the location is offline.
